BIZZARINI

BIZZARINI

Giotto Bizzarrini has helped to build the most beautiful cars of the ’50s and ’60s: the Testa Rossa of ’57, the 250 GT SWB and 250 GTO, are just some of the real icons of the international automotive that Bizzarrini has developed in collaboration with Chiti. Ferruccio Lamborghini entrusted to him the task to implement the 12-cylinder engine for the first car in the project.

.

After other successful collaborations with Gian Paolo Dallara and Iso Grifo, finally in ’65 he has been able to realize her dream of building a car with its own name: the Bizzarrini 5300 Strada. The almost obsessive search for the best weight distribution, the drastic elimination of all unnecessary pounds and the use of engine parts and wheels in magnesium alloy, guaranteed to this car incredible numbers: 365 hp, 0 to 100 km / h in less than 7 “and a final speed of over 280 km / h.

.

Marvic wants to share the dream of the owners of this incredible car, offering magnesium wheels perfect replicas of the originals to ensure safety and originality. In addition to each wheel is also offered a steel hub complete of bolts for fixing the monodado.

LOLA T70

LOLA T70

This extraordinary racing car was born in ’65 from the pencil of the legendary Eric Broadley. He was the founder of the prestigious British brand Lola Cars who, as Chapman and other English fans at that time, decided to design and build his own racecars based on Austin 7 independently, with the intent to dominate the endurance races (Can-Am and 24 hours of Le Mans) and to fight against the rivals Ferrari P3 and Mclaren M1. All the conditions were in favor of this ambitious project. First an extremely experienced builder, passionate and highly motivated, whose sport cars attracted the attention of the Ford Motor Company, so as to become a consultant for the famous GT40, and the support even of the neo world champion of Formula 1 John Surtees, who became one of the first drivers of the T70 and who helped its development. From here, one success after another and an evolution in 4 different versions, which from the open-roofed Mk II (with which Surtees won the Can-Am championship in 1966), up to the Mk IIIB, became more and more powerful, lightweight, stable and popular.

.

Thanks to its agility, this legendary racing car, in its different evolutions, proved to be an excellent racing weapon for sprint races and imposed the pace at home and overseas. Today, the T70 is contemplated by fans with the same admiration than 50 years ago: being able to see live its sinuous lines and to hear the vigorous symphony of its V8 engine downshifting into corners, makes us enthusiastic admirers like to see Anita Ekberg cavorting in Rome’s Trevi Fountain. We are pleased to be able to help this timeless story to continue, offering brand-new original genuine imitation replicas magnesium wheels for all the versions produced of the T70: MK1, MK2, MK3 and the astonishing MK3B.

.

Thanks to the 3D optical scanning of authentic wheels of the time, all our Lola T70 wheels are absolutely conform to the original Lola specifications. They all are one-piece castings (no separate centers or rims) and therefore they are slave replicas, identical to the originals in everything, ready to satisfy the needs of demanding historic racers and preparers of all over the world.

PANTERA GR4

PANTERA GR4

The history of the De Tomaso is a bittersweet story, exciting and melancholy, sadly no happy ending for it, but thanks to the passion of Alejandro De Tomaso in the small workshop based in Modena founded in 1959, were built real  “supercars “.

The Pantera appeared in 1970 and despite the V8 Cleveland could not stand comparison with the engines of other supercars of the era, the Pantera had some good features. A simple engine that allowed to develop additional horses smoothly, while keeping it safe in life; double wishbone suspension on all wheels, limited slip differential, 5-speed ZF gearbox, Lockheed ventilated brakes and, as with any true supercar, wheels made of magnesium alloy with 10 ” and 14″ rims, produced by Campagnolo.

The Pantera gained a great success among fans of American sports cars: it was and it remains a car with such a strong “character” for the era, that still it evokes emotions and respect, observing it.

Marvic now offers perfect replicas of the original wheels: they are produced using the sand casting process and made of the highest grade AZ91 magnesium alloy, reliable, absolutely conform to the original De Tomaso specifications both dimensionally and aesthetically, the new Marvic wheels are able not only to donate new magnificence, but especially to ensure absolute safety. The wheels come complete with steel bushes and in the original colors gold and silver.
